Devlog #1 – Hello... Dream World?!
Good Morning, Good Afternoon or Good Evening from wherever you are! And welcome to the first SMWBT Devlog!

From now on, we are are going to update you all on the game's progress through these, so stay tuned for any upcoming devlogs in the future!

So, what do we have in store?
General Progress

Mario Victory
In June the team got throught a big hiatus, which slowed down progress for some time, but fortunately after a full re-organization, we managed to get development back on it's rails, and now progress is as smooth as it can be!

Since July we have been reworking the previously released Demo to fit better with the original idea of the game, with new sprites, musics, systems and even writing, which has been really exciting to work at.

And once everything is redone, we can actually start adding new content into the game, which shouldn't take too long, we have already reworked a LOT of the old stuff.

Some of which include:

With that said, i have something very important to show to you all!
New Mario, Stella and... Someone Else Sprites?

For the most important part of this devlog, we have completely resprited Mario, Stella, and Dreastly, which didn't get only resprited but also got totally redesigned! Who doesn't love clowns and ghosts, right?

Dreastly was redesigned mainly because of some rewrites they got throught, and due to the old designs being, well, kinda bad, so they had to go throught a full redesign.

Poor Stella

All three of the sprites and Dreastly's new design were made by Tross.

Hopefully the new design and sprites fit more with the game, and hopefully you all like it too!
New HUD

We also remade the HUD, it wasn't bad before but it wasn't made for us, so now hopefully it fits the style of the game better.

Cool Ass Hud
What do you think?! Isn't it awesome??

And with it also came a new pause menu, that is just a cool as the new HUD (and website)!

Cool Ass Pause
The style of the game changed a lot from the Demo and it's really nice to see something we can really call our own, and you all can recognize just by looking at!
So... What Now?

This was everything i had for today's devlog, but me and the team are really excited to show more hopefully soon.

And thanks everyone for the patience! I am really thankful to everyone who is reading this and following the game's progress, it means a lot to us!

See you soon!
